20 Years in the Trade, Still on the Truck
Fix My Air DFW is an owner-operated heating and air conditioning company built on a simple idea: treat every customer like family, and only recommend the work that's actually required.

Meet Augie
Agustin "Augie" Espinoza founded Fix My Air DFW in 2017. He came up the hard way, starting in the trade as a teenager and spending his early years installing systems for a large company, where he saw firsthand how high-pressure sales push homeowners toward replacements and add-ons they don't need. He wanted no part of it. So he went out on his own to build a company with a strong work ethic and a reputation people could trust: one that explains the problem in plain language, prices the job fairly, and never sells anyone something just to hit a quota.
"This is my bread and butter. I have to make sure my name stands out over the other companies."
Born in Chicago and a Fort Worth resident for two decades, Augie is bilingual, roughly a third of Fix My Air's calls are handled in Spanish, and treats every customer the way he'd want his own mother treated. Twenty years in the trade means your diagnosis comes from an experienced technician, not a commissioned salesperson, and most of the time, that technician is Augie himself.
Today Augie is still the face of the business and personally handles most service calls, with the team alongside him. It's the kind of service that has earned a 5.0-star rating across hundreds of Google reviews by Fort Worth neighbors.
The People Who Show Up
Family-owned means you deal with the owner face-to-face, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. Augie runs most calls himself, with lead technician David Veloz and technician Nathan Ortiz on the team.

The Standard We Hold
Honesty over quota
We don't work to a sales quota, so we'll tell you when a repair will hold and when it's truly time to replace, even when a new system would pay us more.
The owner does the work
A licensed 20-year tradesman diagnoses and fixes your system, not a commissioned salesperson and a sub crew.
Up-front, written pricing
Every repair is explained and priced before work starts. The number we quote is the number you pay.
Real, fast response
Same-day service when the schedule allows and a true 24-hour emergency line where the owner answers after hours.
Bilingual & local
About a third of our calls are handled in Spanish, by a Fort Worth resident of two decades who treats every home like family.
We stand behind it
30-day workmanship warranty on repairs, 10-year parts / 1-year labor on installs, and the paperwork handled for you.
One Call Gets You a Real Person Who Knows HVAC
No call center, no pressure, no surprise charges. Whatever's going on with your system, we'll give you a straight answer.
